Akinrobotics

Akinrobotics is the robotics arm of AkinSoft, a Konya software house that has operated since 1995 and is chaired by Ozgur Akin. It is privately held and has not announced outside investors. The company presents itself as Turkey's robotics brand.

Its main claim to attention is a factory in Konya that opened on 4 November 2017 and was reported by Anadolu Agency and Daily Sabah as Turkey's first humanoid robot plant. At the opening Akin said mass production of the Ada GH5 had started and that no other robot factory in the world had reached that stage, a statement that was not checked by the reporting outlets. The Ada GH5 is a wheeled service humanoid with speech, face recognition and internet access, pitched at malls, fairs, airports, hospitals and homes.
