LimX Dynamics

LimX Dynamics was founded in Shenzhen in January 2022 by Wei Zhang and Li Zhang, the latter a former COO of the autonomous-driving firm WeRide. It began with legged research platforms: the CL-1 biped and TRON 1, a modular robot sold to universities and developers that swaps between point, flat and wheeled feet, now succeeded by TRON 2.

Its humanoids are Oli, a full-size general-purpose model, and Luna, a fabric-covered version aimed at stage and interaction work that launched on 26 May 2026 and, the company says, reached batch deliveries within a month. In July 2026 LimX published one uncut video of Oli crossing a room and doing chores with no teleoperation, calling it the first full-size Chinese humanoid to finish long-horizon home tasks autonomously; it is one take in one room, unreplicated by outsiders. It also ships COSA, an agent operating system at version 0.5, and an open FluxVLA engine.

A USD 200 million Series B closed in February 2026 and a pre-IPO round of about USD 200 million on 14 July 2026 valued the company at CNY 15 billion, about USD 2.2 billion, with IDG Capital, Lens Technology, Stone Venture, SAIC's Shangqi Capital and NIO Capital among investors. LimX claims thousands of orders, over half from overseas, without a delivered-unit figure. A listing is planned.
