What the record says.

Noetix Robotics (Songyan Dynamics Beijing Technology) was founded in September 2023 by Jiang Zheyuan, who was 27 when he left a Tsinghua doctoral programme to start it. The company's bet is the opposite of the industrial humanoid: small, cheap bipeds for schools, hobbyists and entertainment.

The N2, priced at CNY 39,900, became known when it finished second in the Beijing humanoid half marathon in April 2025 in 3 hours 37 minutes; deliveries began that month and the company said orders passed 2,000. In October 2025 it launched Bumi, a 94 cm, 12 kg robot at CNY 9,998, presented as the first high-performance humanoid under CNY 10,000; TechNode reported more than 100 sold in the first hour and 500 in two days on JD.com. Noetix said it was aiming at 1,000 units a month by late 2025 from plants in Beijing and Changzhou.

Money has followed the attention. A Pre-B round of nearly CNY 300 million led by Vertex Ventures closed in October 2025, and on 2 March 2026 Caixin reported a Series B of nearly CNY 1 billion (USD 146 million) led by Chendao Capital with CAS Investment and Unity Ventures, the ninth round in under three years, shortly after five Noetix robots appeared in a CCTV Spring Festival Gala skit. Revenue, margins and headcount are not disclosed.
