ATRIAS

ATRIAS was a bipedal robot built at Oregon State University's Dynamic Robotics Laboratory under Jonathan Hurst to test the spring mass model of walking and running. It is not a full humanoid but its legs and controllers led directly to Agility Robotics' Cassie and Digit. It walked and ran outdoors and survived kicks and thrown balls.
