What the record says.
AgiBot, registered as Shanghai Zhiyuan Xinchuang and renamed AgiBot Innovation (Shanghai) Technology ahead of its listing, was set up in February 2023 by Deng Taihua, who serves as CEO, and Peng Zhihui, a former Huawei engineer who left that company in December 2022 and acts as CTO. Early backers included HongShan, Hillhouse and BYD. Tencent led a round in March 2025 and JD.com and SAIC Motor joined in May 2025, when Caixin put the valuation above 20 billion yuan.
The first robot, RAISE A1, was shown in August 2023, followed by the Yuanzheng A2 and the open-source Lingxi X1 in August 2024 and the industrial G2 in October 2025. A Shanghai factory opened in January 2024. The company said it had built 962 units by mid-December 2024 and its 1,000th robot in January 2025, and later claimed more than 5,100 humanoids shipped in 2025 and 15,000 units completed by June 2026. These are company figures, not audited ones.
In July 2025 AgiBot took a controlling stake in STAR-listed Swancor Advanced Materials, and in July 2026 it confirmed it had started a Hong Kong IPO process. Its software line includes the AgiBot World dataset (late 2024), the GO-1 model (March 2025) and Lingqu OS (July 2025).

AgiBot A2
The Yuanzheng A2 family is AgiBot's production line, covering a bipedal interaction robot, a wheeled industrial model, a heavy-duty model and a data-collection model. A2 holds the Guinness record for the longest walk by a humanoid robot.
AgiBot Genie G1
Genie G1 is a wheeled upper-body platform that AgiBot uses to gather manipulation data for its foundation models and sells to researchers.
AgiBot Genie G2
Genie G2 is the second wheeled dual-arm platform from AgiBot, aimed at light industrial and commercial manipulation tasks.
AgiBot Lingxi X1
Lingxi X1 is AgiBot's open-source humanoid, with design files and a software framework published in 2024 to seed a developer ecosystem.
AgiBot Lingxi X2
Lingxi X2 is a 1.3 m interactive humanoid that AgiBot showed riding a bicycle at launch. It targets education, entertainment and research buyers.
AgiBot Raise A1
Raise A1 was the first humanoid from AgiBot, founded by former Huawei engineer Peng Zhihui. The 80 kg payload figure is the claimed total carrying capacity, not a per-arm rating.

AgiBot opens a production line in Shanghai's Lingang area and livestreams assembly. In January 2025 it reports its 1,000th general purpose humanoid off the line, one of the first companies to reach four digit output.
